HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay, HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan and HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls, will each host a Medication Take-Back drive from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 27.
The Medication Take-Back drives provide community members the opportunity safely dispose of unneeded medications:
- Prescription and over-the-counter medications accepted
- Cross out identifying information on the containers
- Liquid medications should be kept in the original bottle, then placed in plastic bags
- Items that contain mercury, syringes, needles, non-medical inhalers and medications from organizations and businesses will not be accepted
The drop-off area at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center, 1726 Shawano Ave., Green Bay, will be located outdoors, near the emergency department entrance; at HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital, 3100 Superior Ave., Sheboygan, outdoors, near the emergency department; and at HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital, 855 S. Main St. in Oconto Falls, indoors, near the pharmacy.
The Green Bay Police Department will be assisting with the drive at HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center; the Sheboygan Police Department at HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital; and the Oconto County Sheriff’s Department at HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital.
