The Chamber would like to thank the following members who serve on our Board of Directors:
Gail is the co-owner and hospital administrator of Hometown Veterinary Clinic in Oconto Falls. Her volunteering efforts spread well beyond the Chamber, as she is active in many local organizations, including Oconto County Economic Development Corporation. Gail graduated from Oconto Falls High School and resides in the Oconto Falls area. She is passionate about the outdoors, fitness, and nutrition and is a certified personal trainer.
Adam Ascher is the Vice President and co-owner (with his wife Tricia) of Ascher’s Janitorial Services since 2006. Together they have met and exceeded many of their business goals. Adam continually takes classes to expand his horizons and certify their company with the IICRC. He is a graduate of Gillett High School (Class of ‘95) and a graduate of the Wood Techniques course at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
Debbie Arndt is the executive director of Home Respite Care Inc. of Oconto Falls, a position she’s held since 1997. She is also co-owner of Lake Breeze Cheese, Wine & Gifts and the owner of D’s Bookkeeping Service. An Oconto Falls High School graduate, Debbie and her husband, Jim, live in the Lena area. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends and relaxing at home.
Bill Koehne has been building websites since 1999. With a degree in Business Administration and over 20 years managing a construction and manufacturing firm, Bill has a developed a passion for growing and promoting businesses. He is a master Internet marketer whose philosophy is “Your success is our success.”
Valerie Staidl-Borkovec, a former Human Resource Assistant has developed her interpersonal skills into a Mary Kay business, building her business one face at a time. In 1994 she went from a tiny rose bud into a blossoming rose embracing her dream life. Valerie has been in the top five of her unit court of sales and earned the Go Give Award.
Nichole Freeman is the Director of The Cottages at MeadowLands Assisted Living in Oconto Falls. A lifelong resident of Oconto Falls, Nichole started her health care career as a CNA in 1995 and enjoys spending time with our elders. She continues to live in Oconto Falls with her husband, has 3 children, and enjoys gaining knowledge on health and personal wellness
Katie Pecha is a community-focused leader who serves at HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Administration. She is also the Chair of the newly developed Leadership Oconto County program. Her background ranges from administration support to fundraising to marketing and event planning, but her love lies in volunteering. Katie is very active within the local community on various projects including the softball/baseball club, leadership development, church organization, and the summer concert series.
