On Thursday, Feb. 11 members of the Pasture Pirates 4-H Club and Lioness Club in Oconto Falls donated handmade blankets and Disney-themed stuffed animals to the emergency department at HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital.
The blankets and stuffed toys will be used to provide some extra comfort to children who come to the emergency department in need of care. “It’s cold this time of year and the blankets and toys will certainly be appreciated by our young patients,” said Colleen Koski, Nursing Manager at HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital.
The Oconto Falls Lioness Club and Pasture Pirates 4-H club are dedicated to helping others and provide support to various community organizations throughout the year. “This is a way to warm children’s hearts,” said Ally Magnin, a member of the Pasture Pirates 4-H Club. “It’s kids helping kids,” she said.
