Abrams Theatre Presents “Shrek The Musical”

shrekAbrams Spotlight Productions, Inc. will present, Shrek The Musical (Music by Jeanine Tesori, Book & Lyrics By David Lindsay-Abaire, Based on the DreamWorks Animation Motion Picture and the book by William Steig) April 15, 2016 – April 24, 2016 at The Byng Community Theater in Abrams.

Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori (Thoroughly Modern Millie, Caroline or Change) and a sidesplitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Throw in a short tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude, and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you’ve got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there’s one on hand…and his name is Shrek.

Opening night is Friday, April 15 at 7:00pm. Abrams Spotlight Productions, Inc. will be celebrating by having an Opening Night Gala. Patrons that attend opening night will receive complimentary hors d’oeuvres and drinks after the show (with the cast and crew).
