February is National Dental Month!

Hometown VeterinatyClinic asks, “ Did you know that dental disease is the most common medical problem in pets?”

Pets need daily dental care and professional dental cleanings just like humans. Dental disease in pets is the build up of tartar on the teeth.  If tartar is allowed to remain on the teeth, infections can develop in tooth pockets, along gum lines, and in the throat or tonsils.  These infections can enter the blood stream and cause kidney and heart disease. A professional dental cleaning is recommended for all pets that have tartar to prevent infections.  Most pets benefit from an annual dental cleaning.

February is National Dental Month!  Hometown Veterinary Clinic is offering $25 off of all dental procedures in February and March!  Call 848-4280 to set up an appointment today!

Social Medias & EMarketing class at NWTC

Social Media is becoming a very important aspect of marketing and gaining exposure for one’s business and organizations that you belong to. As important as Social Media is, it remains sometimes a daunting challenge to those not familiar with it.

Chamber member Bill Koehne will be teaching a class on Wednesdays 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at NWTC in Oconto Falls from March 27, 2013 until May 22th, 2013.

Topics covered will be Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Newsletters, Google presence on places, improving your website visibility, QR codes and more.

Estimated cost is only $56.61

The class takes place in the computer lab. This means it is hands on and the work is done right in the class and completed often before you leave. This also means seating is limited and you will want to sign up early.

It is a small investment for a large return for you and your organization.
