Valerie’s Story:
I started my Mary Kay business in 1994 while working a full-time job. I never dreamed that someday I would be able to quit working my full-time job and do what I was truly passionate about. I love my Mary Kay! My customers and all the friendships that I created along the way are priceless. I have grown as a person by using the education and training available in the areas of setting goals, time management, financial management, and personal relationships. What I’ve learned has affected my self-esteem and confidence, which in turn has affected my daughter.
My typical work day consist of phone work, customer service, deliveries and holding parties. We have a full social media and online presence with Mary Kay and are the largest online cosmetic sales company in the world. Sharing our marketing plan and the Mary Kay opportunity is the best part! My training is ongoing throughout the year at local events, regional career conference in Madison, WI and national educational & recognition opportunities with Mary Kay Seminar in Dallas, TX.
The most enjoyable part of this fun job is seeing the smiles on my client’s faces when they realize Mary Kay products deliver! Our skin care and glamour products are 100% satisfaction guaranteed! The personal satisfaction of setting my own hours, taking care of my daughter and taking great care of my clients too are a few of the rewards. Helping other women build their own businesses is what I do with the support of other Mary Kay professionals.
